The Bible - short course

the-bible-header

Following our discipleship survey this summer we are please to announce our first new set of resources to help us to grow in our faith.

Ever wondered how the bible all joins up as one big story? Want the tools to help you understand the bible better?

Join us over 6 sessions this Autumn to read and unpack 'The Bible - A Story That Makes Sense Of Life' by Andrew Ollerton. The book explores the storyline of Scripture, connecting 6 major biblical events with six definitive human needs: for meaning, freedom, peace, community, love and for an ultimate home. In short, digestible chapters, we see how the Bible story makes sense of our human story.

We are offering this resource in two different ways:

Option 1: Weekly online group on Zoom
Wednesdays 12th & 19th October, 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd November
3pm Afternoon group or 8pm Evening group

You read each weeks chapters of the book before the session, then we will gather together to worship, watch a short video from the book's author, then have time to discuss and explore what we have read and heard.
Email us to sign up to the Zoom groups

Option 2: Go at your own pace + whatsapp group
from Monday 17th October for 6 weeks

Think book group but without having to go a meeting! Through this lead whatsapp group you'll get a message each week with the reading, a link to that weeks video and questions and then chance to use the group to ask questions, see how others are finding it, share stuff that has really hit home for you and encourage one another.
